Looking for our next Scoutmaster

Posted by gzoeller on Jul 29 2022 - 4:15pm

Greetings Troop 113 Families:

I haven't made any secret of the fact that the 2022-23 Scouting season will be my last as Scoutmaster.   At this point, we are looking for someone to step up as an Assistant Scoutmaster for the coming year so that by the end of the year they will have gone through one full cycle and be ready to take over.  I fully intend (as Rick did for Dave and as Dave did for me) to stay on as an Assistant Scoutmaster to provide support and be a resource as needed.  We all want a smooth transition -- and our Scouts deserve it.

If you still have not requested your merit badge 'blue' cards for summer camp, please reach out to Dr. Z to secure these sooner rather than later. Plan ahead and "be prepared".  Contact him at geoffscouter@gmail.com or text him a 973-270-7436.  Be sure to copy a responsible adult on all communications.

Troop 113 "All Hands on Deck" - Gear Transfer

Posted by gzoeller on Jun 17 2022 - 12:17pm

Dear Troop 113 Families,

As of this month, St. Clement has decided to rent out Connery Hall to Dover Public Schools.  This means that all of our Scouting programs (Troop 19, Troop 113, Pack 113, and Crew 17) will no longer be able to meet at St. Clement.  We are in the process of securing another Chartered Organization partner and meeting venue.  We thank St. Clement for all the years they have provided us with meeting and storage space.
