Welcome !

Welcome to our Unit's new website! We are very excited to have you visiting!

New scouts are always welcome!

May 2011 - Wildwood Beach Jam - Taken from atop the giant Ferris Wheel.  Our camp amongst the hundreds of tents on the beach in Wildwood, NJ.  The view was beautiful and the weather was perfect.  The scouts had a fantastic time and learned a few things too.

Troop 113 took a hike down the boardwalk to learn about the local light house at Hereford Inlet.  Very interesting, it was built in 1874 to help ships navigate from the Atlantic Ocean into the Inlet.

“Be Our Guest” At Morris Area Museums May 20, 2012

Posted on May 19 2012 - 12:54pm

Scouts usually work with me on the First Class requirement regarding constitutional rights and obligations of a US citizen. I usually also discuss the Revolutionary War which lead to the Constitution and find many scouts are not aware of the vital role Morris County had in the birth of our country. I urge you to take your children to the Ford Mansion (Washington's Headquarters) at the Morristown National Historic Park. In fact, ten historic sites and museums throughout Morris County are inviting the public to “Be Our Guest” on Sunday, May 20, from noon to 4 p.m. in celebration of National Tourism Week. Participating institutions will open their doors and waive their admission fees during those hours. The event is sponsored by the Morris County Alliance for Tourism. For more information, call 973-631-5151.
